Celebrated with so mixed feelings : all my siblings were there & my last Syawal as single

Happy to b part of it, enjoy the moment n hoping there will b more next year. Despise all d 'kahwin-n-no-more-single' story (duhh!!!). I enjoyed every single moment of cos snapping pics which gonna b framed later.  Eating, helping mama with dishes preparation until 3.30 am, listening to raya songs n late-nite-gossiping were just d other part of it. Our main dishes for dis year ; Mee Kuah @ Mee Tongkol & rendang daging with ketupat and lemang.

                       

Although dis year i dont have any baju kurung raya and raya shoe (suprisingly), but im still in d mood of raya. I wore d same baju i went to my cousin n BFF's wedding. With no regrets cos it still look new to me plus even my brother dont recognise it as he thought d baju is for my wedding nanti. Pity him!! Owwh and im proud to myself kerana berjaya mengembalikan mood raya adik saya dengan meminjamkan baju kepada nya. Owhhh wat a gud sister i am. We r just like more than a sisters should b (walaupun muka tak sama), as we r in d same size, same taste, same interest in fashion, like duplicate everything, sharing almost anything (beyond wat u've imagined ok!!), thought even arguments!!! Like it though. 

Overall i like all d colours dat everyone had dat day. Cheer colors.

kakak's family : red (they were proud  as their red were similar to our coach hue. haha)

abang's family : supposed to be purple but end up mixed colors. My sis-in-law tertinggal baju raya di KL. Hahaha so they wore all-d-baju-pinjam pagi itu.

Parents : Purple as well. Me n adik, color suka suki ;p

Surprise!!!! Am still here in KL. Secara rasminya, bekerja but secara tidak rasmi, sedang menghitung jam untuk pulang ke Kuantan. Yes im heading to Kuantan rite after dis. All my family member sudah menunggu saya. Im d only one yg masih belum pulang. huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu nangis puas-puas.

So, im wishing u all a very H.A.P.P.Y, H.E.A.L.T.H.Y, P.R.O.S.P.E.R.O.U.S & P.E.A.C.E.F.U.L Eid ok.Will b back soon on Monday. Yes working!!! ;p

Owh today is mama's birthday!!!! S.E.L.A.M.A.T H.A.R.I J.A.D.I M.A.M.A....You r d best!!!! Sayang mama. Yeayyy saya berjaya menjealouskan adik saya kerana telah menjadi org pertama yang wish mama saya semalam. Saya call mama belum sampai pukul 12 malam lagi dengan alasan mata sudah mengantuk & x mampu nak tunggu pukul 12 mlm untuk wish. Haha bijak bijak. Mama mesti sedang tunggu birthday present dia. Wait n c!!!

Raya preparation for dis year??


Mine..
Dis year very simple dan sangat ke arah penjimatan. As for now, i still haven't buy any baju kurung, any tudung, accesories or anyyyyyyythingggggggggggg yet. Pelik kan?? Memang confirm takkan beli coz by lusa saya sudah balik ke Kuantan. Dis year is such a bz mode with wed prep, works n thesis (just finished). All enough i guess to put myself not in d mood of raya. I set in mind, its oke even sum of my frens said dis year gonna b my last raya as 'single'. Yet it never changed my mood to anything. Cos rasa sama saja. But itu saya cakap psl mood semalam n hari-hari sebelumnya laa.


But dis morning when i drove my car to d office, there were few raya songs i tuned to n it juz made me in sayu-mode. Tiba-tiba. Plus, jalan lengang n it took me 15 minutes saja utk sampai office which proved dat sudah ramai orang bercuti raya. Saya pulak kerja sampai petang raya. Hmmmmmm. Suddenly rasa macam bestnya kalau saya berada dgn family sekarang. Buat cookies, cake, tukar curtain, cuci tingkap, tukar carpet.. i used to do all dat when i still bersatus student. Wahhh dah lama x buat semua tu since i start my work in KL Selalu balik one or two days before raya. Kalau x pun, saya akan tunggu my parents smpi ke KL before bertolak to Utara either Penang or Kedah to celebrate raya dgn maktok. Dis year, my parents decided to celebrate raya di rumah kami di Kuantan. So i hav no choice other than driving alone on Thursday after work. Hopefully tidakla jam sampai bumper-to-bumper (kalau saya cakap x nak jam langsung macam not make sense plak since itu adalah petang raya ;p)

So hari raya ini saya akan recycle semula baju yg baru dipakai 2 kali. Maroon and white color. ms ke wedding my cousin n my bestfren. Owhh cuma satu saja yang saya akan beli untuk hari raya. Earingssssssssssssss!!!!! telinga saya sudah naked tanpa earings. Gara-gara subang hilang sebelah. huhu!!


Untuk my parents, kami adik beradik akan membeli birthday present. for her birthday on 9th September iaitu hari Khamis. Dan utk hari raya, i bought her few cookies yg dia suka. Owhh tahun nie saya tidak tukar duit raya kerana saya hanya akan beri pada nephew n nieces sahaja. Adik?? ada kot ..selepas dia unpack barang saya, sediakan makanan dan tlg pack cookies yg akan saya bawa balik ke KL ;p


Enough bout raya preparation


Last weekend, saya telah join Zul's family berbuka puasa. After weeks to weeks saya tunda, finaaly weekend yang last baru betul2 jadi. His mom cooked nasi lemak with super yummy-sambal ikan bilis. Memang sedap. I enjoyed berbuka coz dah lama x berbuka ramai2 macam tu. Semua ada except his eldest yang sudah balik ke Indonesia. Then before berbuka, kami pergi membeli lagi makanan di Pasar Ramadhan Section 7. macam2 beli : sate, cendol, murtabak daging, kek and cempedak goreng. Tu pun after Zul dah bising banyak sangat. Ikutkan saya nak beli SEMUA!! ;p Then after berbuka, i joined aunty n Shahida (adik zul) solat tarawih di masjid. Owhh saya teruja dgn one of Zul's niece, Nabilah. Dia sangat booooolaaatttt n chumel. Dia suka main rambut saya. Alasan sebab panjang. She likes long hair walaupun rambut dia pendek. Tambah chumel bila dia ambik tudung maktok dia n pakai. See........

p/s : 2day is my kakak's birthday. Happy Birthday kakak!!!!!! Semoga u n ur family sentiasa dimurahkan rezeki. Owhh tahun nie mereka beraya dgn mood rumah 'baru'. Their house just finished renovation. Wuuuuuuuuu cant wait 2 see dat. 

*7-copies-of-thesis*

Ok.lets recap my few weeks back. dis entry is all about a week before my due date of thesis submission on 27th August 2010. With 2 weeks notice, they (siape lagi kalau bukan P.Pengajian Siswazah) juz gav me a lot of trouble starting from printing, sorting, burning into CDs until make it to hard cover version. Listing these out juz remind me how awful my weeks were. See how awful my face! Penattt dan sangatttt tak cukup tidur.

                                     

But make it soother when i got d feeling of all dis work is my last master-thingy dat has to be done after 3 years work (owh suddenly im in jumpy mode!). Alhamdulillah.

                                      

I spent my weekend at my sister's ouse in shah alam doing all dis thing, due to my lappy-yang-telah-dicuri-bersama2-dengan-broadband!!!!!. To whoever-it-may-concern, terima kasih kerana mencuri sbb anda menjadikan my sister and I lebih berhati-hati in future. And tahniah kerana secara free anda berjaya kutip dosa di bulan Ramadhan (congrats!). Itu saja. 

So much thanx to my sister kerana meminjamkan her notebook n printer to me. Luckily she was busy with her law exams n assignment, kalau x confirm aku x dpt guna. Owhh yuh saya hanya menggunakan Canon iP1800 shj untuk print tesis. 

Kesian kan??

Some people beria2 print pakai laser jet bla..bla..Yes for d sake of their master. But to me xperla guna apa2 pun sama jer. Yg penting, content n they will b hard cover jgk kan Whether u believe or not, i spent almost RM600 to settle everything including make it to hard-cover. huhu very costly kan. Dats y bila org tanya bila nak further lagi study to PHD. I said to myself, selagi i x bt saving utk study, there will b no such things. Unless my husband nanti yg willing utk sponsor (im heading to dat direction btw ;p). At first i was thinking to play safe by juz submit 4 hardcopies (for my main SV n my other 2 co-SVs n also PPS), but then awal2 lagi  i was reminded by my prof to make it 7 copies. Yes SEVEN!!! n u know wat, it cost me RM30 each for hardcoverh which total cost RM210!!! (phewwwwwww....duit preparation raya semua melayang).

Ok on 27th, saya telah mengajak parents saya yg kebetulan memang nak pegi Ayer Hitam to buy few simple things of my wedding stuff yg masih belum dibeli. Before that, they tagged me along to my Uni utk settlekan pasal penghantaran tesis n also submit Borang Graduasi as well. Last time i pergi sana around July 2010, masa tu x nampak perubahan sgt but dis time i pergi, wahhhhhhhh i was nearly x kenal my uni oke. Lots of changes esp our main field dah siap renovation. Still mini size but ok la. Sorry x sempat nak snap everything esp our brand-new-library, super-huge n cantik. Sekali pandang x langsung nampak macam library. and mind you, 16,ooo m square ok. woooooooooooooooooooooooowwww!! owh another thing, my SV telah dinaikkan pangkat n level dr Prof madya to Prof and dari Timbalan Dekan Fac Civil Engineering to Pengarah Pusat Pengajian Diploma. Big congrats Prof!!! prof terima kasih kerana memuji saya di hadapan bapa saya 'Azeera nie hardworking n determined'. (owhhhhhhhhh...tersenyum sampai bersimpul2 ;p)
